You can easily arrange a “No Obligation” inspection, to investigate suspected maintenance issues with your property and identify the most suitable remedial treatment for any incidence of:
Simply call us today on 01738 860170 and we will be pleased to help you.
Upon receipt of your request, our team will be in contact to arrange a suitable time for a survey of the property. We will require access to the affected area(s), as designated by you.
Our inspection will enable us to identify the current problem, whether it’s caused by rising damp, fungal decay or leaks; and including any attack by wood-boring insects.
Identify the source
Whether associated with a Wet Rot or Dry Rot fungal attack, the source of moisture in the affected area must always be identified. This will normally result in a guaranteed treatment and immediate remedial building or joinery work to address poor ventilation, leaking or blocked rain water goods, defective roof coverings, faulty pointing etc.
We are also happy to quote for any general joinery and building work you require. Many of our testimonials reflect clients for whom we first carried out a specialised treatment, before being invited back to provide additional general building services.
At our initial survey, we will investigate your concern fully, in many cases using a moisture meter: high moisture levels in a building points to hygroscopic damp – usually reflecting problems with humidity/condensation, and not rising damp.
Long-term health
Condensation is certainly a major problem in today’s properties, where it can be visually unpleasant – resulting in black mould growth on surfaces – but can also lead to long-term health problems.
So, don’t delay. Our “No Obligation” survey will immediately help to put your mind at ease by identifying the root cause of an issue, if one exists.
Once the cause is known, then the cure is known.
Our surveyor will report his findings back to you in the form of a written quote for any remedial work we believe necessary to eradicate a problem.
All preservation work undertaken subsequently will be carried out by our own employees and is covered by our comprehensive 30-year guarantee.
As well as our range of specialised timber treatments for your home or business premises, Tay Property Services will undertake any necessary joinery work you require – from fitting new uPVC windows and doors; installing kitchens or bathrooms; building extensions or decking; and much more.
